1967 to present day - the history of the UK's largest compressed air distributor
In January 2006, subsidiaries Anglair Ltd and Woodside Pneumatics Ltd merged under the new name of Airchannel Ltd, which has since incorporated E & B Compressors, based in Weston-Super-Mare and Cardiff.
Combining nationwide coverage with a vast knowledge of the industry gained from 40 years of experience, Airchannel is much, much more than simply the largest compressed air distributor in the UK.
Airchannel provides a leading design, installation, supply and comprehensive aftersales service in compressed air, pneumatic components and product finishing.

1960's
Woodside Pneumatics, NBT and Fidelity formed as subsidiaries of Shanks & McEwan Ltd
1970's
Anglia Plant formed as a subsidiary of Jackson Group
1976
Woodside Pneumatics appointed sole Scottish Distributor for Hydrovane
1987
Airchannel Ltd. formed as the Management buyout vehicle for the acquisition of NBT, Woodside & Fidelity from Shanks plc
1988
Woodside appointed Bauer (Ecoair) Compressor Distributor, crossed the border & opened Branches in Leeds & Middlesboro
1990's
Anglia Plant merged with Air-tech and Anglair Ltd. Under the name Anglair Ltd.
1997
Woodside Power formed as subsidiary of Fidelity to provide diesel generator power for sale & hire.
1998
Acquired property, business & Hydrovane Distributorship in Newton Aycliffe. Subsequently appointed CompAir Screw Distributor.
2003
November - Airchannel sold NBT.
2004
16th January - Airchannel acquired Anglair Ltd. Merge of Woodside and Anglair commenced to provide a UK National Distribution and Service business.
2005
31st December - legally merged Anglair and Woodside Pneumatics under the name of Airchannel. First time Airchannel has been used as a trading name
2006
October - acquired E&B Air Compressors Ltd. and sold Personal Protective Equipment business to focus solely on Compressed Air
